This was definitely a steal! I only paid 40.00 for a knife set that I'd happen to be willing to pay 80.00 for. I'm not a chef but I'm a mom that cooks several meals and am quite satisfied with this buy. I use to have knives with serrated edges as well as the teeth would bend creating cutting and also washing them tough. It really is nice to have straight, smooth blades that I can sharpen if they get dull. Hopefully these will last significantly longer than my serrated ones that I had for about 13 years. I do dry them following they're handwashed simply because they will rust but I think that it takes function occasionally to create things last longer.
